The Bookkeeper is responsible for the following administrative functions for several dealerships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Preparation of the monthly bank statement reconciliation.
Preparation of monthly inventory reconciliation.
Preparation and reconciliation of quarterly sales tax, tire tax and other required tax return statements.
Perform the daily positive pay file upload and maintenance of positive pay files, including manual uploads.
Assist with month-end close activities.
Assist with posting and reconciling weekly warranty statements and monthly reserve statements.
Manage the unclaimed property reporting process.
Perform other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should possess:
• A high school diploma or equivalent;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience;
• Ability to maintain and preserve confidentiality;
• Ability to maintain high ethical standards;
• Ability to pay attention to detail; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone; Internet and in person; and use standard office equipment.
