Summary:
The Lease Option Coordinator is responsible in managing portfolio of existing lease customers who leased a vehicle from the dealership and most likely to lease or buy from the dealership again. This role may also coordinate the sale or lease of a new vehicle.

Essential Duties include the following; however, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

• Prospect contact and work with existing portfolio customers.
• Assist customers with lease transitions and lease terminations.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the vehicles, accessories, and services offered by the dealership.
• Assume responsibility for the lease retention and or termination process, including:
o Getting to know the client through phone and email interviews.
o Establishing a sustained consultative relationship with each customer.
o Refer customers according to the dealership’s process to sales representatives to close transactions.
o Follow-up with prospective clients utilizing various methods of communication.
o Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pricing and specifications of competitive vehicles to provide clients with informative comparisons.
o Maintain knowledge of the dealership’s products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise through on-the-job and on-line trainings
• Maintains and achieves guest satisfaction objectives set by management.
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should possess:
• A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
• Customer service and communications skills preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Basic understanding of eLeads (CRM) or similar and CDK (DMS) or similar are a plus
• Strong negotiation skills, ability to ask for the appointment and effectively handle customer requests.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers
• Ability to assess individual customer needs
• Ability to work under time constraints, managing priorities, organizing work time and activities.
• Ability to think of innovative ways to get results.
• Able to cooperate with team and management

• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.
• Learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales.
• Use good judgment in challenging situations; pay attention to detail.
• Follow-up with guests and employees; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person.
• Use standard office equipment.
• Must have a valid sales driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record.
